Essential Travel Items
Passport and Visa Documentation
Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the Hajj authorities will collect your passport and return it to you upon departure.
Vaccination Proof
All pilgrims must present a valid certificate of vaccination against quadrivalent (A/C/Y/W135) meningococcal meningitis. Depending on your country, additional certificates for yellow fever and polio may be required.
Passport-Sized Photos
Bring at least 4 extra photographs for potential documentation needs during your journey.
Currency
Carry a minimum of 1000 Saudi Riyals (approximately 25,000 to 27,000 INR) for immediate expenses. Plan to exchange money at the airport, local banks, or recommended money exchangers in Makkah and Madinah.
